Nocturne Release v1.5.0 is here!
For anyone discovering Nocturne for the first time, it's a Discord staff management bot built around promotions, demotions, hiring workflows, hierarchy management, and reducing manual administrative work through automation.
This update introduces two major features designed to make staff management even smoother:
Umbrella Roles
Configure a single server-wide staff role that Nocturne automatically grants whenever someone joins any staff hierarchy, and removes once they leave all of them. No more manually managing a shared @Staff role.
Predefined Reasons
Create reusable reasons for staff actions that appear as autocomplete suggestions across /staff commands. Faster moderation, consistent records, and fewer repeated explanations.
Alongside these additions, v1.5.0 also includes documentation improvements, quality-of-life polish, and several smaller enhancements.
Finally, thank you all for the incredible support! Since the previous release in May 25, Nocturne has grown from 155 servers to 288 servers in just over a month. Seeing so many communities trust Nocturne with their staff management has been incredibly motivating, and there's much more to come.
