Hey Travelers, I'm glad to announce that a major update has landed on Miki! We're bringing weekly raid bosses, the first version of Mastery, and a tiny drop of a universe beyond your discord server!
Servers can now take on a weekly raid boss through /raid. Each player can fight once per hour, contributing to a total damage meter, and attempts toward their server’s progress.
Raid fights play out as full battles similar to PVP, with a result screen showing your damage, the MVP in your party and is a great way to get new equipment for your heroes!
Four bosses have entered the rotation, and we're starting with the first one this week:
Torazan, the Earthbreaker, is a shaman who takes the shape of a tiger from the northern highlands. Sworn to guard the earth itself, he wields strength far beyond what any protector should possess. When his power turns from defense to devastation, you must stop him before the planet breaks beneath his cosmic might.
Each boss has their own background story, combat style, and drop a rare signature ability scroll. Scrolls have a 1% chance to drop after a raid battle, and the raid shop includes a Raid Skill Box as a pity option in the event you're terribly unlucky.
The best way to enjoy raiding is together, by working together you can get more rewards through the week, while at the same time creating healthy competition. But, not just that; you also compete against all servers. For servers who prefer staying private: you can turn it off using the /guildconfig command.
The first version of the Mastery system has arrived. Players can now use /mastery view to follow tutorial progress and begin exploring long-term mastery paths. The tutorial reacts to real gameplay, helping newer players move through daily claims, fishing, mining, crafting, cards, parties, and duels while earning starter rewards along the way.
New raid achievements have been added for both damage and attempts, including long-term milestones for dedicated raiders. We’ve also added new rare-to-obtain achievements for weekly leaderboard performance.
Daily and weekly quests can now include raid damage objectives, including dealing a target amount of damage in one fight or across multiple raid battles.
Commands have been cleaned up to make related actions easier to find and to keep Miki under Discord’s command limits:
/iteminfo under the inventory command as /inventory iteminfo.
I hope you'll enjoy exploring these new systems - and have a great time fighting these newly designed bosses. I'm expecting that there will be some re-balancing as we walk into the week, but overall I've been satisfied that the fights will need some changes in your party to get the best DPS!
