Discord's first translation bot reborn. A 100% free translation bot with automatic cross-channel translations. No character limit, no hassle

Translating Your Messages Manually

Translate makes it easy to translate any message you want to just about any language you can think of! All you have to do is type :t [language] [text to be translated] and translate will handle the rest! For example, if I want to tell somebody what my name is in korean, I just have to type :t korean Hi, my name is Tanner!

Finding Out What Language People Are Speaking In

If you see people chatting away in a language you dont know, and you want to take part in the conversaion, you can type :t lang [text to analyze] and Translate will dissect the message and tell you what language they're speaking in! For example, All I'd have to type is :t lang 안녕하세요, 만나서 반가워요! to find out that they're speaking in korean

Translating Messages Automatically

To translate messages automatically, there are two methods. You can either use the method below, or you can use the preferred method, TS channels. To use TS channels, simply put ts-[language name] anywhere in your channel topic. TS channels automatically translate between each other. Example: A channel called general has a topic that says This is the general chat | ts-english, and a channel called general-jp has a topic that says これは一般的なチャットです | ts-japanese. Translate will automatically translate these languages across channels seamlessly.

:t channel

:t channel is a way to get a TS channel-like experience inside of a single channel. Run :t channel [1st lang iso] [2nd lang iso] to activate your channel's auto translation feature. To turn this off, just run :t channel none.

:t speak

Run this command like :t speak [language you speak] to be given access to ts-channels that require a role to see and type in (keeps things clean for non-staff roles)

Speak Roles

To setup speak roles for the :t speak command, and begin requiring these roles for accessing ts channels, all you have to do is create a role called ts-[language], and make it to where only people with that role can access that language's ts channel. Translate will automatically detect that the channel is role-locked and will give the role to anybody who wants it.

Other commands available

:t invite Sends an invite link so that your friends can invite Translate to their servers too

:t bug [bug description] Sends a bug report to the developers

:t suggest [suggestion] Sends a suggestion to our developers

:t stats Shows some cool technical statistic nerd-stuff about the bot

:t shards Displays all the bot's shards, along with their pings
