Live Countdown bot

A discord bot that counts down to a given time. What's the secret? It does this by continuously editing the message as each minute passes by.

Usage

!help (or) !usage

Shows the help message.

!countdown

Syntax: !countdown [tagme|taghere|tageveryone] <Date/time to countdown to>

Commands can also be inlined, by wrapping it between two exclamation marks.

Syntax: .. !!countdown [tagme|taghere|tageveryone] <Date/time to countdown to>! ..

Examples:

!countdown 10mins
!countdown tagme May 24 3:47 PM PDT

Time till I'm 13 yrs old: !!countdown Aug 31, 10PM GMT! left.
There is !!countdown taghere 11:59 PM EST! left to capture flags!

• A new prefix can be set using !setprefix. Forgot the bot prefix? Just mention the bot.
• There can be 2 active countdowns per channel. This is in order to keep within Discord's API limits.
• Would you like the bot to automatically delete your !countdown message? Give it the MANAGE_MESSAGES permission, and it will!
• There's also a !botstats command, use this to find out how the bot is chugging along ;)
• To mention a specific role once the countdown is done, use the syntax !countdown tag <role name> <date/time>
• For example, to mention the Players role once the countdown is done, Get ready for the match in !!countdown tag Players 11PM EST!.
