--Lore (Intro)-- In the year 2099, humanity's greatest achievements finally collapsed on their foundation. In a matter of six minutes, the once prosperous planet, rich with technological advancements, culture, life, became yet another barren boulder flying through the endless abyss of the cosmos, burning in anger. In a matter of six minutes, a universal gesture of sadness and hopelessness was carved into the faces of all life. If it were not because of the end, it was because of the furious, raw heat melting their profiles like marshmallows in an incinerator. The day of judgement had no mercy, death exhaled into the land, only leaving the dark ashes in an eternal morbid rain rising from the blood of billions. It was the day when both criminal and Samaritan became one in the same, when there was no difference between child and old man, they ended molten piles of flesh and bone all the same, or mutated horrendously. This mass equifinality seemed to equivocate in it's malice, however, for from the ashes reached out the hand of humanity, and from the depths of the sea, the deepest jungles, the darkest caves, rose life anew. The homeostasis of the planet was only partly saved however, as temperatures rose and lowered like a twisted, sickened pendulum in a matter of decades at a time, and humanity reversed into the dark ages, with only fractions of the lost glory left behind.

Welcome to 300 years after the events of Judgement day, taking place in an ice shelf between the west and the east. Make your way in this cruel world, or change it for the better, for the worst, or for your own benefit.
