Seamless Currency Exchange on Discord - Your Instant, Reliable, and Hassle-Free Bot for Conversions!

Currency Converter

Converts between 339 currencies at live daily rates. That covers every national currency, plus crypto and precious metals.

Commands

Command What it does
/convert-currency amount from to Converts an amount between two currencies
/rate from to [days] Charts how a pair has moved over 7, 30, 90 days or a year
/list-currencies [search] Shows everything supported

What it does well

You don't have to know the code. Both currency fields search by name as well, so typing yen or dirham works just as well as JPY or AED. The currencies people actually use come up first, so the list is worth reading the moment it opens.

You rarely need to run the command twice. Every result comes with buttons:

  • 🔁 Flip the pair around, keeping the amount
  • 🔄 Requote at the current rate
  • 📈 Pull up a 30-day chart

There is also a dropdown for sending the same amount to a different currency.

Charts work for every pair. /rate draws the trend with the high, the low and the percentage change, and you can switch between a week, a month, three months and a year without retyping anything. Crypto included.

Buttons don't hijack anyone's result. Press one on someone else's conversion and you get your own private copy back instead of changing theirs. You can also set private: true to keep a conversion to yourself from the start.

It goes where you go. Install it to a server, or to your own account so you can use it in any server, group chat or DM.

Privacy

The bot cannot read your messages. It only asks for the Guilds intent, so Message Content and Server Members are both switched off. Nothing you type is kept: the command inputs are used to build the reply and then dropped.

About the rates

Rates come from a public exchange rate dataset and refresh every few hours, with a cache in between so replies come back instantly. If the data goes stale, the bot says so and refuses to quote rather than passing off an old number as a current one.

These are reference rates, so treat them as information rather than a quote. Your bank or exchange will add its own spread and fees.
