Logs 42 Discord event types to a searchable audit trail, runs approval forms with role-based routing, and gives members real wallets.

Every command opens a hub. There are 15 slash commands and not one of them takes an argument, so you run /ledger or /config and get buttons and drop-downs instead of a syntax you have to memorize. A fair amount of the bot you never type at all: approvals, ledger disputes, pay requests, and poll votes all happen through buttons on the message the bot posted, plus there are three right-click menus on users and messages.

Guild Ledger is for servers where somebody eventually needs to know who approved something. It keeps a log of what changed in the server, runs the approval flow for member requests, and tracks a per-guild currency with wallets and balances. It's aimed at gaming guilds running loot councils, fundraising servers, DAO-style communities that vote on spending, and public servers with enough moderation volume that Discord's own audit log has stopped being enough.

Audit log

42 event types across 8 categories (moderation, members, messages, channels and roles, voice, invites, server, and stage and soundboard). Each event toggles on its own and you choose which channel it routes to, so you can send moderation somewhere private and leave joins and leaves in a public feed. Free retention is 7 days and Pro extends it to 365.

Approvals

Build a form in /forms, pick which roles are allowed to approve it, and the request posts with approve and decline buttons attached. A request can only be decided once, so two approvers clicking at the same moment won't both land. Every decision is timestamped and written to the log. The free tier covers 2 forms.

Ledger and wallets

/ledger is the admin side, /request is the member side. On the free tier members send pay requests to each other, claim bounties, buy from a shop, and put money toward fundraising goals. Pay requests cap at 5 pending on free and 25 on Pro. Balances are whole numbers in your currency's smallest unit, so nothing drifts. Opening your own wallet, checking a balance, sending gold to another member, and the balance leaderboard are all free — transfers cap at 5 a day on free and 50 on Pro.

Disputes

A member who thinks a ledger entry is wrong can dispute it, and the dispute posts with accept and reject buttons for whoever handles it.

Moderation

/mod carries the action log, per-member case history, and the actions themselves. Moderation-relevant changes get written automatically as they happen, including Discord's native auto-mod firing.

Anti-spam

Catches two things. Five or more unique mentions in one message, and ten messages inside ten seconds. You pick what happens when it triggers: DM warning, timeout, kick, or ban.

Exports and reports

/export pulls a CSV whenever you want one. Scheduled exports check hourly against the schedule you set and are a Pro feature. Summary reports are separate and post on an interval you configure.

Polls

/polls builds a poll with a duration, a visibility setting, and optional restriction to specific roles. Voting is buttons on the poll message, and overdue polls close on their own if something goes wrong. Payout polls, which pay the outcome into the ledger, are Pro.

Reaction roles

Map an emoji to a role and members self-assign by reacting. Delete the message and the mapping cleans itself up. A reaction role can also pay a wallet grant when it's assigned, which is Pro.

Privacy and GDPR

Members can export or erase their own data from the /help hub without filing a ticket with an admin. /about shows any member exactly what's stored and for how long. Retention is a TTL you set and entries expire without anyone running a purge. Admins control which categories get logged at all.

Getting set up

The first time an admin interacts after the bot joins, a first-run dashboard opens by itself and walks through the basics. /setup re-runs that guided version later, and /config handles individual settings once you know what you're changing.

Pro

$7.99/month through Discord's App Directory. Pro lifts the free caps (forms, shop items, bounties, goals, pay requests, daily transfers) and unlocks scheduled exports, named ledger accounts, budgets, transfer fees, wallet interest, payout polls, wallet grants on reaction roles, form bounty payouts, and alert routing.
