DOWNLINK — a whole cyberpunk city in a chat window

Your server becomes a district of New Socales: a living cyberpunk metropolis your members play entirely through DMs with the bot.

The loop: 20 actions a day, no cooldown timers. Take a contract, train a skill, craft gear, cross the wrong syndicate. Every action costs something, so every choice matters. Solo play is a complete game; group content (drop-in district events, 2–4 player crew jobs, faction wars over turf) is always open.

Why admins add it:

• ⚡ 2-click install, ~2 min setup. No admin permission. No message-content intent. No manage-server. Lockable to a single #downlink_game channel.
• 🧍 Never spams. The game lives in DMs; the one channel it touches gets district + world events your community can rally around. Opt-in.
• 🏙️ Your community becomes a place. Reputation and cross-server syndicates tie servers together — your members get a reason to stay and a world bigger than one server.
• 🔒 Privacy-first. Stores a Discord ID and an in-world character — never emails, never real names. No data sold, no ad networks, no LLM training. /forget-me purges everything in 7 days.
• 👥 No member minimum. 12 players or 12,000 — solo-complete means it doesn't need everyone online at once.

It's a private alpha and we say so plainly. Playable and genuinely fun right now; early and rough in places; we ship often and read every piece of feedback.
