Share spare game keys and product codes safely in your Discord community.

Instead of dropping codes in public chat where bots and lurkers can grab them instantly, CodeClaimer lets you share codes through slash commands. The code stays hidden — a public claim card goes up with a button, the first person to claim it gets the code by DM, and the card updates to show it's been taken.

How It Works

1. A moderator (or any member, if you allow it) runs /sharecode or /bulkshare
2. A public claim card appears with a Claim Code 🎁 button
3. First to click gets the code sent to their DMs instantly
4. The card marks itself as claimed — no one else sees the code

Commands

/sharecode — Share a single code. Supports optional platform (Steam, Epic, PS5, Xbox, etc.) and expiration date.

/bulkshare — Open a guided panel to paste multiple codes at once. Each code gets its own claim card. Supports an optional pre-drop message to post above the drop — great for tagging roles or crediting whoever donated the codes.

/settings — Toggle and configure how CodeClaimer works in your server.

/help — Usage instructions (private/ephemeral).

Claim Verification

When enabled, clicking the Claim button shows a private challenge instead of immediately sending the code. Six modes to choose from:

🔵 Easy — Simple addition or subtraction. Answer is always a single digit.

🟡 Medium — Order of operations (PEMDAS) — answer under 100. Weeds out bots and inattentive clickers.

🔴 Hard — Algebraic equation. Solve for x. Rewards people who actually pay attention.

⏱️ Difficulty Over Time — Starts at Hard and descends through five tiers as time passes. First claimers face the hardest questions. The longer nobody bites, the easier it gets — down to Easy, which holds indefinitely. Starting duration and the 75% dropoff rate are configurable per server.

🧪 Periodic Table — "Which symbol represents the element [Name]?" — Four options, one correct. Drawn from a dataset of 40 common elements.

🎲 Random — The bot picks a mode randomly on each individual claim.

One Claim Per Batch

When enabled, each member can only claim one code per /bulkshare drop. All cards from a single bulk submission are linked — once someone claims one, they're locked out of the rest. Great for fairness in larger communities.

Settings

Everything is configurable per server via /settings:

• Mods Only — restrict /sharecode and /bulkshare to moderators (ON by default)
• One Claim Per Batch — one code per member per bulk drop
• Claim Verification — challenge question before claiming, with six difficulty modes
• DOT Start Time — set the starting duration for Difficulty Over Time (default 60s)

Settings persist across bot restarts and redeploys.
