1 · An encounter spawns A live encounter card drops in the channel — automatically on a timer or manually by a mod. Each card carries a unique narrative prompt and a tier. Members have a window to act.

2 · Members join the roll Anyone can hit Join the Encounter before time runs out. The encounter tracks who responded and closes when its fate is sealed.

3 · The record stands Stats accumulate. Callouts are public. Internal ranks shift based on engagement. The Dungeon Master remembers who showed up — and who didn't.

🌍 Six Encounter Themes

Each theme ships with 200 hand-written prompts. Every encounter draws from one — keeping the flavor consistent with your server's world.

⚔️ Fantasy Dungeons, dragons, cursed artifacts, and tavern brawls. Classic high-fantasy encounters with a Baldur's Gate edge.		🤠 Western Dusty saloons, wanted posters, and standoffs at high noon. 🎲 Encounter Tiers

Encounters scale in stakes. Mods can let the bot pick randomly or force a specific tier for events and testing.

Easy	Low stakes. Good for warming up the crowd or onboarding new members.
Medium	The everyday encounter. Balanced tension, broad appeal.
Hard	Things get serious. Higher narrative weight, more pressure.
Legendary	Rare and memorable. Reserved for moments that deserve a bigger stage.
Mythic	The ceiling. Maximum drama. Use sparingly or it loses meaning.
Random	The bot decides. Every spawn is a surprise — for mods and members alike.

📣 The Callout System

When someone bails on an encounter, community members can file a public dodge callout. Callouts stack on a user's record and feed directly into their internal rank.

⚡ Live Accountability Run /dodge callout to mark a member for dodging. The callout is posted publicly, attributed to you, and logged permanently against the target. No silent moderation — the record is visible to everyone.

🛡️ Cooldown Protection Configurable per-target cooldowns prevent callout spamming. Mods set the minimum time between callouts on the same member, keeping the system honest without killing community engagement.

📊 Internal Rankings

DodgeRoll tracks an internal rank for every member — separate from Discord roles and invisible to the channel. Stats accumulate across encounters, callouts, and event wins.

🏆 Personal Stats Run /dodge stats to view your own record: dodges received, event dodges won, manual points, and current internal rank. A private snapshot, always up to date.

⚙️ Mod Overrides Mods can set rank overrides, clear them, add or remove manual points, or reset a member entirely — all through /dodgemod commands. No database access required.

🔧 Moderator Tools

⚙️ /dodgemod settings Full per-server control — set the encounter theme, toggle callouts on or off, configure callout cooldowns, and choose which channel encounters post to. All settings survive restarts and redeployments.

🎭 /dodgemod spawn Drop an encounter on demand, in any channel, at any tier. Useful for events, scheduled drops, or testing a new theme before you go live.
