D&D/DnD TTRPG recaps, transcripts, GM prep notes, player-safe summaries, and campaign memory you can ask in Discord

Recap Raven — D&D session recaps and searchable campaign memory

Run the game. We handle the memory.

Recap Raven is a Discord bot that records your D&D and TTRPG sessions, creates player-safe recaps and private GM notes, and builds a searchable memory of your campaign.

Invite Recap Raven to your Discord voice channel and play as normal. After the session, it turns the conversation into useful campaign material for players and GMs—without anyone spending the night taking notes.

What Recap Raven does

With your table’s consent, Recap Raven joins your Discord voice session, records and transcribes the game, and turns it into:

— Player-safe session recaps
— Private GM notes and preparation context
— Searchable campaign memory
— NPC, location, quest, item, hook, and unresolved-thread tracking
— Catch-up summaries for players who missed a session
— Answers backed by evidence from the session transcript

Instead of relying on scattered notes, forgotten NPC names, or opening every session with “wait, what happened last time?”, your table gets a campaign memory that grows with every game.

How it works

1. Invite Recap Raven to your Discord server.
2. Start a session in your voice channel.
3. Play your game normally.
4. End the session when the game is finished.
5. Receive your recap, GM notes, and updated campaign memory.

Recap Raven lets everyone stay focused on roleplaying, storytelling, and spending time with the group instead of constantly stopping to write things down.

Player-safe session recaps

Every recorded session becomes a structured recap covering the events that mattered most.

Recaps can include:

— Important story events
— Character decisions
— NPC interactions
— New locations and discoveries
— Combat encounters
— Items and clues
— Quest progress
— Unresolved story threads
— Memorable table moments

Player-facing recaps are kept separate from private GM material, hidden information, and preparation notes.

Private tools for GMs

Recap Raven creates private material to help GMs remember what happened and prepare for what comes next.

Use it to:

— Review what happened during the session
— Track quests, clues, hooks, and unresolved threads
— Identify important player decisions
— Remember improvised NPCs and locations
— Prepare for likely next-session choices
— Keep private GM knowledge separate from player-visible information

Ask your campaign what happened

Recap Raven builds a searchable memory from your recorded sessions.

You can ask questions such as:

— Who was the NPC we met in the ruined temple?
— Which player picked up the silver key?
— What did the mayor promise the party?
— Where did we leave the captured bandit?
— Which quests are still unresolved?
— When did we first hear about the missing caravan?
— What happened during the session I missed?

Recap Raven searches your campaign history and provides answers with transcript-backed evidence, so you can see where the information came from.

Everything Recap Raven can do
