Sauna

Sauna is a free Discord bot for running your community without configuring everything through a maze of slash commands. Tickets, moderation, leveling, verification, role management, welcome messages, analytics, and more are all managed from a real web dashboard.

🎫 Tickets

Create a customizable ticket panel with multiple categories, each with its own name, emoji, and support role. Add questions for members to answer before opening a ticket and customize the welcome message shown inside each category.

When a ticket closes, Sauna automatically creates a transcript. Transcripts can be posted to a staff channel, sent directly to the ticket opener, and reviewed later from the dashboard. Staff can also view and close active tickets without searching through Discord.

🛡️ Moderation and automod

Sauna includes /warn, /mute, /unmute, /kick, /ban, and /cases. Every moderation action receives a case number and records the member, moderator, reason, and time. Staff can search and filter the complete case history from the dashboard.

Automod can:

• Remove Discord invite links
• Detect mention spam over a configurable time window
• Limit rapid message spam
• Automatically mute repeat offenders

The dashboard also lets administrators view, add, and remove server bans.

⭐ Leveling

Members earn XP by chatting, with a cooldown that prevents farming. /rank shows a member’s current level and progress, while /leaderboard displays the server’s most active members.

You can assign roles that unlock automatically at specific levels, choose where level-up announcements appear, or disable leveling completely.

👥 Members, roles, and verification

Automatically give new members a role when they join, or create self-serve role panels that let members add and remove roles themselves.

Sauna can also protect your server with a customizable verification panel. Choose simple button verification or require members to complete a math or emoji challenge before receiving their verified role.

💬 Engagement and commands

Welcome new members and log departures with customizable messages and placeholders. Create custom slash commands with optional cooldowns, and save canned responses that support staff can quickly post inside tickets with /canned.

📊 Analytics and audit log

See message and member trends, command usage, and other server activity through real charts. The audit log tracks message edits, message deletions, joins, leaves, and role changes, giving staff one place to understand what is happening across the server.

Everything is available for free. There is no premium tier, no paywall, and no locked features.

Sauna started as a bot for my own server. I opened it up so other communities could spend less time configuring bots and more time running their servers.
