DG Spam

When a hacked account spams the same text or photo across multiple channels or Discords, DG Spam detects it in seconds. 7-day timeout, deleted messages, and admin alerts — networked, not just on a single server.

DG Spam is a networked anti-spam moderation bot for Discord. It is designed for compromised account spam: the same message, link, or image (MrBeast scams, @everyone, crypto casinos) pasted across several channels or servers within a few seconds.

What it does

• Detects the same footprint (text and images) in 2 places in ~10 seconds. If it's a Discord invite or soft text, it requires 3 channels to avoid catching staff tickets.
• Applies a 7-day timeout with the reason "Possible Spam".
• Deletes the messages. If there are photos, it forwards them to the alerts channel in spoiler format so the staff can review them without exposing them to everyone.
• Alerts the server's warnings channel and the team's logs.
• Shares history across communities: /check tells you if that account tested positive within 30 days, if there are only old cases, or if it was marked as a false positive in one server and not another.
• If the account joins another Discord with the bot, it alerts and can apply a timeout.

Setup Upon inviting the bot, #config-dg-spam is created (administrators only). You choose the alerts channel or create a private one; afterward, that config channel is deleted. Without a warnings channel, there are no local alerts; the network and timeouts on other servers continue to function.

Commands

• /setup — configure alerts (admin only)
• /status — bot status on the server
• /check user — anti-spam history on the network (mods/admins)
• /report — report an error (email + case)
• Report Error button on alerts — false positive: attempts to remove the timeout

Staff (admins, mods, manage messages, etc.) are not scanned. Spanish and English interfaces depending on the server and client language.
