Setup in 1 minute

1. Invite Postman
2. Open the channel where you want news, or mention it in the command.
3. Run /setup
4. Select categories, how often to post, and Full or Compact style.
5. Done. New stories start arriving on their own.

Want a quieter channel? Try every 1 hour + Compact. Use /settings to change frequency and style later. Use /subscriptions to add or remove topics. You only need /setup again if you want to replace everything on that channel.

Commands

• /setup - pick categories, frequency, and style for a channel. Replaces the categories if you change them.
• /settings - change frequency and style without touching categories.
• /subscriptions list - see which channels get which topics.
• /subscriptions add - add one category without touching the others.
• /subscriptions remove - remove one category.
• /subscriptions clear - remove every category from a channel.
• /help - the same guide, inside Discord.

All commands require the Manage Channels permission.

Frequency and style

• Frequency - 5 min, 10 min, 30 min, 1 hour, 3 hours, or 6 hours.
• Full - each article gets its own embed.
• Compact - one embed per category. Top 3 stories in full, the rest as title + link.

Categories

• Tech TechCrunch, The Verge
• World BBC World, The Guardian
• Economy BBC Business, CNBC
• Politics BBC Politics, The Guardian
• Sport BBC Sport
• Science BBC Science, The Guardian
• Health BBC Health
• Environment The Guardian, BBC
• Entertainment Variety, The Guardian Culture
• Gaming Polygon, Rock Paper Shotgun

Put different topics in different channels. For example #tech, #sport, and #world.
