Ayako: one bot instead of five

A typical server runs a moderation bot, a leveling bot, a giveaway bot, a logging bot and a fun bot, and pays a monthly fee for at least one of them. Ayako does the work of all five in a single invite. It is free forever, with no premium tier and no paywalled features, and its full source code is public on GitHub.

Everything is configured in one place: /settings, inside Discord. 36 top-level commands, 295 runnable subcommands. Invite it, open /settings, and turn on what you need.

Keep the place safe 🛡️

Warnings climb a ladder you define. A member's third warning can mean a mute and their fifth a temp-ban; you set every step. Temporary punishments end on their own: temp-bans, timed mutes and channel bans expire right on time, without anyone keeping a calendar.

/mod alone holds 49 actions. Among them are 18 ways to clear messages (by user, by links, by invites, by images, by files and more) and 7 kinds of pardon, so you can forgive a single entry, a date range, or everything one moderator ever issued.

The automatic side works while you sleep. Anti-spam catches message floods as they start. Anti-raid reacts when many accounts join at once. Every posted link is checked against live lists of dangerous websites. An invite filter, a newline filter and a word censor cover the rest.

Every member has a punishment history you can read, edit and forgive. Punished members can make their case through appeal forms you design, filled out on the Ayako website.

Reward people for showing up 📈

Members earn XP for chatting and for time spent in voice. Six progression curves are available, from steady linear to a slow exponential grind, so the climb matches your community's pace. Channels and roles can carry their own XP multipliers, with separate values for text and voice. At the levels you choose, Ayako hands out roles automatically, draws a /rank card for each member, and keeps server, global and channel leaderboards.

Roles reach well beyond level rewards. Members pick their own through self roles, button roles or reaction roles. Newcomers receive auto-roles on join, and sticky roles return when someone rejoins. Members can hold a custom role they name and color themselves, or buy roles in a shop with server currency earned by chatting.

Run events and keep the place lively 🎉

Giveaways can require a role to enter, pick winners fairly, and be rerolled, edited or cancelled after the fact. New members get a custom welcome message with images, and captcha verification can hold them at the door until they prove they are human. Voice hubs give every member a personal voice channel the moment they join the hub, removed again once it sits empty.

Suggestions come with community voting. Support tickets keep help requests organized. Sticky messages hold an announcement at the bottom of a busy channel. Vote rewards pay members for supporting the server on top.gg. There are also personal reminders, AFK auto-replies and Disboard bump reminders.

Keep records 🧾

18 log categories cover messages, members, roles, channels, voice, invites, webhooks and more, and each category can post to its own channel. The log names the account responsible, so a deleted message or an edited channel traces back to a person. Every moderator action lands in the mod log with full detail, and every settings change is recorded as well. When a question starts with "who did this", the answer is already written down.

Have some fun 🎭

75 roleplay actions, from hug and pat to boop and bonk, each with hand-picked anime GIFs. Buttons under every action let the other person answer with one click: hug back, pat, or bonk, straight from the message. Members can block specific users or specific actions from targeting them, and admins can switch any action off. On top of that come 10 anime image commands, from neko to senko, and 10 /info inspectors for looking up servers, users and messages.

Everything above is configured through /settings, 51 pages of options inside Discord itself. The bot is fully translated into English and German. And with /settings custom-client, your server can run Ayako under its own bot name and avatar, so the bot doing all of this carries your branding.
