The official Tixal server. Setup help, feature requests, bug reports, and direct answers from the team.

Tixal is a ticket bot for Discord servers that want clean, fast, self-hosted support. Instead of asking users to type commands, it turns a single message with buttons into private support channels — complete with forms, escalation, transcripts, ratings, and analytics.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. You post a panel. It's a message with one or more buttons anyone can click.
  2. Each button can ask a short form question before opening the ticket, so staff know what they're walking into.
  3. A private channel opens for the user and your team.
  4. Staff claim, help, escalate, add notes, and close. A full transcript page gets posted to your history channel automatically.

PANELS

• Rich panel builder with title, description, image, thumbnail, color, footer, and per-button embed. • Multi-button panels with per-button private roles — different buttons open different teams' tickets. • Channel naming prefixes per button so support-0042 and report-0087 are visually distinct. • Add one button at a time with a guided form, add several at once by comma-separating, or pull a button straight from a saved template. • Reorder buttons with ▲ ▼ arrows. Remove multiple in one action. • Custom emoji support everywhere: <:name:id> or bare emoji IDs. Emoji picker built into every editor with Custom, Unicode, and Recent tabs. • Full preview mode before you post. You see exactly what Discord will render.

TEMPLATES

Save any panel as a template to reuse across your servers. Apply, edit, rename, or delete templates any time. Server owners can copy a token that carries the template's shape to another server — custom emojis and every channel/role ID are stripped first, so nothing leaks by accident.

FORMS

Ask the user one question before their ticket opens. The answer lands right in the ticket (and in the waiting room, if that's on). No more "hey I need help" tickets with zero detail.

THREE WAYS TO CLOSE

• Auto-close: closes any ticket after X of no activity. • Instant close: the Close button saves a transcript and deletes the channel immediately. • Opener-inactive close: closes the ticket if the person who opened it stops replying.

All three can be on at once. When instant close is on, auto-close deletes too — and every staff member on duty plus the opener gets a DM explaining exactly why, with the idle window.

CLAIM EXPIRY

If a staff member claims a ticket and goes silent for the configured window, the claim auto-releases. They get a DM, the ticket pings back to the pool, and their claim credit is refunded. The timer refreshes every time they speak in the channel.

WAITING ROOM

New requests can go straight into a channel, or wait in a queue for staff to accept or decline. Accept creates the ticket channel and pings the opener. Decline DMs them with the outcome. Form answers show up right in the waiting room so staff can decide with full context.

STAFF TOOLS

• Claim, unclaim, escalate, de-escalate, priority, rename, add/remove users and roles. • Staff-only notes on each ticket. • Per-user permanent notes that follow someone across every ticket they open. • Reminders that fire only if the ticket actually goes quiet. • Full transcripts as HTML files with Discord's real chat styling — including a summary block: what the opener asked, who handled it, the last reply, and how many times it was reopened. • Reopen tracking so you can see tickets that keep bouncing back.

MODERATION

• Block users or roles from opening tickets. • Temporary blocks that expire automatically. • Full block history per target. • Alt detection — flag tickets from accounts newer than a threshold you set. The flag is a quiet chip on the ticket header, never a block.

RATINGS

After a ticket closes, the person who opened it can leave a 1–5 star rating via DM. Ratings are logged to a channel you choose, tracked per staff member, and ranked on a leaderboard with a configurable minimum. Send yourself a test rating DM from /setup → Ratings to see exactly what your users will see.

ANALYTICS

/ticketanalytics shows server-wide volume, claim rate, close rate, top performers, and a per-button-type breakdown. /ticketleaderboard ranks staff by activity, claims, closes, ratings, or currently-handled tickets. /staffreport dives into one staff member. /toptickets shows the tickets that have been waiting the longest. /inactive lists staff who've gone quiet.

SETUP

Everything is configured from a button-driven /setup menu — no commands to memorise. Six tabs: Tickets, Roles, Users, Logs, Ratings, Panels. Every submenu has a Back button, and the panel editor has a Back to home on its bottom row so you never need to re-run /setup.

The setup hub shows a checklist until your server is ready: staff roles set, log channels created, a panel posted, ratings configured. Each item clears itself as you finish.

Every setting shows its current value inline. Every field in every modal has a label and an example. Every button says what it does.

Setup reset — guild-owner only, two-step confirm, typed word required. Clears every Tixal setting but leaves open tickets and Discord channels alone.

LOGS

All four of Tixal's log channels — activity, transcripts, waiting room, and feedback — live under a single "Tixal Logs" category. Created on setup, reused if it exists, channels re-parented into it either way.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

Each ticket is its own channel with permissions scoped to the opener, the staff, and (optionally) a private role per button. Nothing is shared across servers.

NO ADMIN REQUIRED

Tixal asks for the minimum permissions it needs to run. No kick, no ban, no moderation features you didn't ask for.

ONBOARDING

When Tixal joins a server, the server owner gets a one-time DM with the full setup guide. The person who added it gets a shorter welcome note. If permissions are missing, the owner gets a one-time heads-up listing exactly what's needed.

The first time someone opens a ticket in a server, they get a one-time DM inviting them to report bot bugs directly in the support server — with a one-tap invite button.

SUPPORT

If you get stuck, /support opens the official support server. /help opens the full guide inside Discord, with a dropdown to jump between every category. /status shows Tixal's live health.
