Secret Polling#4645

Anonymous polls for your server. Members vote with one click, nobody can see who picked what, and vote records are wiped the moment the poll closes.

Polls where nobody knows how you voted

Discord's built-in polls show everyone's name next to their vote. That's fine for "pizza or tacos," but not for picking moderators, running staff elections, or anything where people might not vote honestly if others can see.

Secret Polling keeps votes private. Members click a button next to the option they want, and that's it. No names, no live counter to watch, no way for other members to see who voted for what.

How it works

1. A server manager runs /poll quick with a title, a description and 2–5 options
2. The poll is posted with a Vote button next to each option
3. Members vote, and can change or remove their vote any time before it closes
4. After 1 week (or when a manager ends it early), the poll closes and the final results are posted right on the poll message

What happens to the votes?

While a poll is open, the bot only keeps a record of each vote so people can't vote twice. The moment a poll closes, those records are deleted. Only the totals are kept, and those are removed after 30 days.

Commands

Creating, ending and viewing results needs the Manage Server permission. Anyone can vote.

Good for

• Moderator and staff elections
• Community decisions people might feel awkward voting on publicly
• Feedback on events, rules or changes
• Any vote where you want honest answers
