Note. If your ticket panel or any related data was set or created before the date of August 27, 2021, you must remake your ticket panels and re-set your configuration. This is due to a major version update that changed everything about the bot.

It is in my best interest to continue providing the best I can offer and continue to provide all users with a feature-rich, easy-to-use, and configurable bot that is absolutely FREE to use.

I have absolutely no plans to charge any additional cost to use Ticket King's more advanced features such as unlimited ticket panels, custom server role/color, custom messages, and etcetera. These features will never be locked and will continue to be free to use by all users for the foreseeable future.

Ticket King Updates

Ticket King is going to be offline temporary from Februrary 8-9th while the machine it is hosted on is transferred to a new datacenter. Ticket King will automatically go back online when the process has finished. 


Machine Maintenance

The long-awaited Version 4 is planned to release on or before April 2nd, 2022. This update will contain a large majority of the most requested features and additions, including but not limited to a configuration website, web panel, purchasable premium, updated and in-depth configuration commands, ticket questions, custom roles, better ticket transcripts, and much much more. 

V4 is set to be the most comprehensive update since the dawn of Ticket King.
If you have a feature request that you'd like to see in Version 4 that is not on this list, please join our support server and submit a suggestion!

V4 Release Date & Information

The long-anticipated V4 Update will be released tomorrow, March 27th. There will be partial downtime on March 26th for maintenance and database migration, with the major release coming out on March 27th.

V4 Update

v4.6 is out!
This update brings new slash commands with an updated interface that makes using Ticket King just so much easier!

In addition to this, the panel setup process has been overhauled and the config commands have been split into subcommands.

We have also added a much more detailed and configurable panel editor to the website at ticketking.xyz. In addition, we have also added panel creation directly to the panel so you never need to setup the panel through discord again!

This update also contains several long-standing bugs, such as some commands failing at a certain point and other miscellaneous issues.

- Added a new option, "Role Specific Transcripts" as an option in the settings section. Using this will only allow the ticket roles that were used when the ticket was opened to view that ticket's transcript

## Ticket King Bot
- Added a new way to open tickets for a user: Context Menu. You can now Right Click (or Hold Down) on a user's message, go to Apps, then select "Create Ticket" to create a ticket from a user's message.
- Added the unclaim command. For all tickets created after this update, you can now use /unclaim if you want to unclaim a ticket and restore access to any roles (if they were removed or marked as read-only)
- Added the claiming user ID/@ to the closed ticket log (if the ticket was claimed)
- Updated the messages when adding a user/role to a ticket, it now shows who added the user/role and will ping the user that was added.
- Updated the messages when removing a user/role from a ticket, it now shows who removed the user/role from the ticket.
- Fixed an issue where manually creating a ticket for a user would not put that ticket under the main ticket categories
- Fixed an issue that would prevent the ticket author from closing tickets using the buttons
- Fixed an issue where the ticket author would not be able to type in a ticket under very a specific server configuration

- Added the ability to drag-and-drop and reorder entire button or select menu rows when editing your panel

- Added support for required roles. Required roles are roles that users must have to be able to create a specific ticket. You can find this new setting in the settings button on each button or dropdown menu option.

- Redesigned the help command message to have menus with helpful information about setting up the bot, using the bot, command information, and other documentation
- Added a /unlinksteam command for servers that use steam linking that allows users to unlink all active accounts from that server
- Fixed some issues when the bot tried to send messages in a channel it did not have the correct permissions for
- Updated the ticket created message that is shown to a user to have a button that will take the user directly to the ticket
