I pushed slash command versions of everything so when Discord turns off access to message content on the 1st April you'll need to use those instead of the $command style typed messages!

I've not updated all the help and documentation yet to reflect this but that's coming soon as well. For now, enjoy the slash commands and report any issues in the support server 👍

Added Boosts, Lootboxes and the Credit Shop!!!

The credit shop can now be used to buy boosts and lootboxes using the credit you've been earning from daily goals and voting.

Lootboxes
These are opened immediately when bought and can contain:
- Cash (0.5, 1 or 5 times your betting max)
- Credits (1, 2 or 5)
- Any one of the boosts!

Boosts
- Double profit from winning
- Ten times profit from winning
- One hundred times profit from winning
- Unlimited all in bets for a short time
- No chance to lose money on the next game

There's currently nothing to spend the credits on but the next release will add player boosts and lootboxes that you'll be able to purchase with $shop credits

Version 4.0.0 released!

After a brief pause for personal reasons, I've started some big changes with the bot!

A few areas of the bot have been hitting the maximum number Javascript safely supports so I've spent a week or so updating the bot to allow theoretically infinite growth (up to about 1000 digits for each number) - This should allow for some _insane_ all-in gambles!

It's currently in testing to make sure everything still works seamlessly and none of the data is lost when updating to use the new number type.

After that, the next big update will be the addition of 'Seasons'!!!

Like many of the popular games, it gets boring having the same person/people at the top of the leaderboard for all time, with very little chance to catch up.

As a result, the bot will have seasons - This will involve resetting the data for everyone every few months (not decided the duration) and adding rewards for finishing a season at the top of any of the plethora of leaderboards (like better starting cash or temporary earnings boosts, special titles/badges that you can put on your profile).

The leaderboards for all seasons will be saved so you can look back at previous season leaderboards to see where you finished etc. 

The current season will be 'season 0' and after the reset we'll be in season 1

The first season reset should also bring with it a season-long multiplayer game in the support server! 

I'm also always looking for more gambling games to add to the bot - If you've got any suggestions drop them in the support server

Crash

Added a hard mode to crash.

The game is the same but it doesn't tell you the multiplier or if it's crashed, you just react at some point within the 2 minute game timer and find out if you won and how much!

The multiplier goes up twice as fast and the chance of crashing stays at 10%

Texas Hold'em Bonus (Poker)

Added in the previous version but the payout table for hands has been modified so better hands pay out a higher amount. Checkout the pay table in $help poker

Create a mine and mine RBX (a fictional cryptocurrency) - hire miners, increase capacity with mines and become the largest CryptoMine in the world.

It borrows elements from my favourite mining and crafting games like Minecraft, Factorio, Satisfactory and more to create an infinite progression - the UNIVERSE isn't even the limit!

Version 1 of this releases with digging and processing of materials, expect a research tree with upgrades for miners to provide passive resources, increase income, decrease resource costs, and many more

CryptoCraft Online!!!

New Game:
- $coinFlip - Flip a coin and bet on the result! $help coinFlip for information on how to play!

New Features:
- ALL THE LEADERBOARDS! I finally added the leaderboard for votes. It will add one for every vote! Your current count now shows in $me stats
- $gift - Give 3 __free__ gifts every 12 hours to your friends! $help gift for information! Your given/received gifts count now shows in $me stats and there are leaderboards for these values as well!!
- $roulette Added the colour of the result number to the embed. Still need to improve this game but this helps a little at least.

Fixes:
- Resolved an issue that was throwing errors with findTheLady when you typed a response that wasn't the number of a card to pick
- Deleted some unnecessary files to help speed up releases of the bot

You can also check the status of the bot by sending a message with just @Rocket Gambling Bo, or by calling $stats which shows some information about the bot like when the bot was last rebooted and information about the maintenance window!

I usually post daily updates to the bot, either new games or fixes and release around this time of night

Update 2021-03-30

New Game:
- $findTheLady - Also known as three or five card monte, find the queen to win! Has an easy and hard mode that pay out 1:3 and 1:5 respectively. $help findTheLady for information on how to play!

Fixes:
- Updated permissions checking to correctly check channel-level permissions. Previously it just used guild-permissions and then got upset when the channel permissions didn't match
- Resolved some issues with games when they time out after 2 minutes - specifically blackjack, connect four and hol. Found when testing the new game

Update 2021-03-29

After speaking to Discord Support and some back-and-fourth, the bot was verified!

The 250 guild limit has been removed, feel free to add the bot and play with it as much as you want!

VERIFIED!!!

Firstly, I'm entirely flattered that not only have over 500 people played with Rocket, but the bot has been added to 220 guilds so far!!!

Unfortunately, as the bot isn't verified yet, there's a guild cap at 250, and a delay of about 2-3 weeks until the bot can be sent for verification. After that, another 2-3 weeks until the bot is verified

This means that once the 250 guild limit is reached, nobody else will be able to add the bot (unless someone else removes it first) 

It's a big blow to the momentum Rocket has had a massive boost of growth, from 36 guilds just 2 days ago to now nearly 250! 🎉

If you'd like to play with the bot after this point, you're welcome to join the support server, where there are multiple play channels, announcements on updates and a friendly, SFW atmosphere

I've contacted Discord support and am hoping to get a response soon to expedite the verification process so more of you wonderful people can add and continue playing with Rocket in your own servers
