What it does

AuthentiGate gives your members verified age, region and pronoun roles, and gives your staff the moderation tools to keep the server in order. Members verify once with a photo ID and a selfie through Persona, then get your server's Verified, age-band and region roles, in every server that uses AuthentiGate.

It answers with Discord panels: buttons, menus and pop-ups instead of long commands. It never asks for Administrator, and if a permission is missing it says which one instead of failing silently.

Set up in about five minutes

When AuthentiGate joins, it posts one welcome with an Open setup button. /setup opens the setup Home: Verification (post the Verify message, edit its words, choose roles), Captcha, Roles, Moderation, Automation (including auto-delete channels), Logs (one-click log category), Tickets, Giveaway, Premium, What's new, Settings and How to play. Moderation actions stay as slash commands.

New in this update

• One setup Home replaces ten setup commands. Everything you set before is kept.
• Auto-delete channels: clear old messages on a timer (30 seconds to 14 days, keep the newest 0 to 100, pins kept). 10 channels free, 25 with Premium.
• Bot roles panel: where other Whiskey Bots share your server, members pick their game-night ping roles in one place.
• What's new on the setup Home and a banner on the web panel.
• Vote credits: each vote is a quarter of a credit (half at the weekend), kept for 30 days from your latest vote.

Key features

• Verified roles: Verified, age-band (Under 18, 18+, 21+, 25+, 30+, 40+, 50+) and region roles. Age roles move up on the member's birthday. 5 free verifications a month; Premium tiers give 50, 150, 500 or 1,000 a month.
• Captcha gate: a free captcha before verification, set in /setup → Captcha or on the web panel: off, captcha only, or captcha then ID verification.
• Pronoun and gender roles: members pick them in /profile. Free in every server.
• Moderation: warns, notes, timeouts, kicks, bans, softbans, quarantine, purge, slowmode, locks and lockdown, all recorded as numbered cases in your mod log. Helper, Moderator and Admin staff tiers.
• Automation: escalation ladder, ready-made AutoMod rules, a raid alarm, join gates, anti-nuke and a spam-trap channel.
• Tickets: private support tickets from a panel, as channels or threads, with claim and close. Transcripts anyone can open in a browser are coming soon.
• Log channels: join, leave, verification, admin, change, mod, report, appeal and ticket logs, created in a couple of clicks with /setup → Logs → Setup.
• Reports and appeals: members right-click a message or member to report it. Banned or timed-out members get one appeal per case, from the bot's DM or, for bans, on the web panel.
• Web panel: log in with Discord at panel.authentigate.gg to manage roles (up to 5 per verification result), moderation, tickets, logs, appeals and the bot's wording, and see your server's insights.
• Set up in about five minutes: /setup creates the roles you're missing, and Logs → Setup creates a private Logs category with a channel for each log.

How verification works

1. A member presses Verify on your Verify message, or runs /verify in the server.
2. They open a one-time link to Persona, photograph their ID and take a selfie.
3. The bot DMs them the result, and gives them your roles in every server that uses AuthentiGate. They only verify once.

You choose an optional age requirement (None, 18+, 21+, 25+, 30+, 40+ or 50+) and what happens below it: either only the Verified role is withheld, or every role the bot manages is taken away.

"Don't give a bot your ID." We agree. That's why it never gets it.

• The bot never sees your ID photo or your selfie. Persona runs the check. Your name and your photos stay with Persona.
• What AuthentiGate keeps: your date of birth (encrypted), your region, and what your ID says about sex. Your ID's number is turned into a one-way code, so one ID can't verify many accounts, and the number itself is never kept.
• What server staff see: your age band and region, only where their server has roles for them, and never your date of birth.
• You stay in control: /profile shows everything stored about you. /download_my_data gives you a file of it, and /delete_my_info deletes it and asks Persona to delete your ID and selfie records too. (After deleting you can't verify again for 30 days. Servers' moderation cases about you are kept.)
• Verifying is optional: pronoun and gender roles work without it.
• It doesn't monitor your chat: filtering is Discord's own AutoMod, and the spam trap only notices who posted in the trap channel. Message text is handled only for evidence a moderator attaches to a case and for ticket transcripts (coming soon).

Free vs Premium

Every server gets 5 free ID verifications a month, counted per member and reset on the 1st of each month (UTC). Premium is per server and renews by itself, in four tiers. Every tier has the same features; tiers differ only in how many ID verifications your server gets each month.

Free: $0. 5 ID verifications a month, plus up to 5 more from Top.gg votes.

Premium: $5/month. 50 ID verifications a month.

Premium Plus: $10/month. 150 ID verifications a month.

Premium Max: $25/month. 500 ID verifications a month.

Premium Ultra: $40/month. 1,000 ID verifications a month.

Vote for extra free verifications

Every Top.gg vote (once every 12 hours) is worth a quarter of a verification credit (weekend votes count double). Run /vote in the server you want to boost to give it your credit. 4 votes add 1 verification to that server. Free servers can receive up to +5 a month; Premium servers have no cap. Votes you haven't given expire 30 days after your latest vote; credits a server has received never expire and are used before its monthly allowance.

Run /premium in your server to subscribe (needs Manage Server). The payer can cancel any time in /premium.
