Plus One: the classic counting game for your Discord server

What it does

Plus One turns a channel into a counting channel. Members post the next number, the bot checks it and reacts, and the whole server works together to keep the run going. A wrong number, or the same person counting twice in a row, ends the run, unless you have a save ready. Every run counts towards your server best and the global counting leaderboards.

How counting works

• One number per message: 1, 2, 3 and on. The bot reacts to each correct count.
• Math counts: type 2+2, 10*5-3 or 2^5 instead of the number. + - * / % ^ and parentheses all work.
• Exact decimals: 2.5*2, .5*10 and 7/2*2 all count, as do sqrt(49) and abs(-7). Math is exact, with no rounding: the answer just has to be a whole number.
• No counting twice in a row (admins can allow it).
• Fair and tidy: chatter can be removed automatically, an accidental double post within 1.5 seconds doesn't ruin the run, and edited or deleted counts are called out so nobody gets confused.
• Never loses the count: after a restart the bot checks the messages it missed and picks up where you left off.

Saves keep the run alive

• Earn saves by voting: each Top.gg vote gives you 1 save, and you can hold up to 3.
• Server bank: members can give saves to the server bank, which holds 2 saves.
• When someone posts the wrong number, a save is used and the run continues. With no saves left, it's back to 1.

Key features

• Leaderboards: this server, global servers (by best run, total counts or current run) and global counters, with a Find me button. Members can hide themselves from global boards, and servers can leave the global board.
• Milestones: a milestone role and a shout-out every 100 counts (you pick the interval), and a ping for every 1,000.
• Ruined-it role: whoever breaks the run wears it for 24 hours (1 to 48 hours, or off).
• Daily goal: a counting target for the whole server every day, in your server's timezone.
• My stats: your counts here and everywhere, accuracy, best run, milestones, saves and vote streak.
• One panel, almost no commands: /counting opens everything: the count, leaderboards, saves, stats and, for admins, every setting. A setup check shows any missing permission and can create the counting channel for you.
• On by default: roles are created for you and every feature works out of the box. Admins can switch anything off.

Permissions

Plus One reads the numbers typed in the counting channel, so it uses the Message Content intent and only looks at messages in counting channels. Manage Messages removes chatter, Manage Channels lets it create the counting channel for you, and Manage Roles hands out the milestone and ruined-it roles (put the bot's role above them).
