Letterboxd Tracker Bot watches the Letterboxd users you pick and posts their new diary entries to your server automatically. Active accounts are checked about every 30 minutes, and quieter ones a little less often. Run /setup and you are live in a couple of minutes.
/setup is an interactive wizard that builds your whole tracker before the end credits roll.
Choose where diary entries land. You can route other features like recaps, sharelinks and command replies to their own channels too.
Link any public Letterboxd username to a member with /adduser. Track one person or your whole film club.
New diary entries post on their own, usually within about 30 minutes for active users, with poster, rating, and a link to the review.
From automatic diary posts to profile browsing, film search, and verified accounts. All in Discord.
Every new entry posts with the film poster, rating, liked and rewatch status, director, genres, runtime, and the review. Spoiler reviews stay hidden, and a watch filter can post only first watches or only rewatches.
Browse any Letterboxd profile with /profile: bio, favourites, weekly stat changes, milestones, diary, watchlist, and lists. Sort, page through, and jump straight to reviews.
Look up any film with /film or /search. Get details, the poster, a trailer button, and who in your server logged it. See what is trending with /popular.
Dig into anyone's logged films by /actor, /director, /genre, /decade, or /country, and put two users' ratings side by side with /compare.
Prove you own a Letterboxd account with /verify and lock it to your Discord. Verified users unlock extras like hiding their name in global stats.
Server and global leaderboards with /stats: top watchers, top films, rating histograms, and monthly winners. Track daily logging with /streak, celebrate milestones, and crown a Top Watcher of the Month role.
Weekly and monthly server recaps post automatically, and you can browse past ones with /serverrecap. See anyone's year in film with /recap.
Pick every diary field, labels, colours, ping role, and auto threads with /settings. Route diary, recaps, sharelinks, commands, changelog, and the audit log with /setchannel, and copy your setup to another server with /exportconfig.
Members can post their own social and Letterboxd profile links to a dedicated channel with /sharelink, so everyone can find each other across platforms.
Anyone can leave tracking with /opt-out and return with /opt-in. Verified users hide their name in global stats with /anonymous. Admins gate commands with Admin, Mod, and User permission groups.

Yes. Tracking, profiles, stats, search, recaps, and the rest are free to use. Optional Patreon support with /donate just helps keep the bot online.
It adapts to how active each user is. Someone who logged in the last day is checked about every 30 minutes, while accounts that have been quiet for a while are polled less often, up to roughly every three hours, to stay light on Letterboxd. New activity bumps a user straight back to the fast cadence.
To be tracked, yes, since the bot reads public diary entries. To browse profiles or search films, any public Letterboxd username works. The bot never touches private account data or credentials.
Letterboxd usernames you track and the member they are linked to, public diary data for stats, server settings, and IDs of entries already posted. No message content, no passwords, no payment info. Run /privacy in Discord for the full breakdown.
Posted entry IDs clear after 14 days, undeliverable posts are dropped after 7 days, and audit logs after 90 days. Remove the bot and all of your server's data is deleted within 48 hours.
No. Letterboxd Tracker Bot is an independent project and is not affiliated with Letterboxd. It only reads publicly available data from their site. Film metadata comes from TMDB, and this product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Add the bot, run /setup, and your first diary entries start posting.
