Your members already speak more languages than you realise. Discord Translator posts a clean translation under each message moments after it is sent, in 110 languages, and since this autumn it does the same for voice.

Text

• Auto-translate every channel, only the channels you choose, or none. Messages are translated into your server's language as they arrive.
• Two languages in one channel: run /channel translate twice and a Korean and English room reads both ways. Nothing is ever translated into the language it was written in. Two languages per channel free, eight on a Server plan.
• Flag reactions: react with a flag on any message to translate it into that flag's language (55 languages).
• Right-click, Apps, Translate Message: a private translation only you see. Translate from here does the same for the whole conversation from that message on.
• Watch a member: /watch @user sends you their messages in that server by DM, translated. Anyone can switch this off for themselves with /settings privacy, or block one person with /blacklist.
• Glossary: names, brands and in-jokes stay as you write them, in every translation the bot makes. Three terms free.
• Seamless translation (Server Pro): the translation replaces the original, posted under the author's own name and avatar.
• A weekly summary of translations and languages, in the channel you choose.

Voice

• Live captions in a voice call: the bot joins the channel and posts each sentence, translated into the channel's languages, with the original underneath, about two seconds after it is said.
• Spoken translations: turn speak on and it says each translation out loud, each speaker in their own voice. Over 80 languages have a voice, and you can speak in over 90 and be captioned.
• The Translator Activity: follow the whole call in your language, just for you. In the call, press the rocket, open Translator and press Start listening; it starts in your language, and you can switch it there. Lines are spoken in your ear in the more than 80 languages that have a voice and shown as text in the rest. The captions in the channel stay for everyone, and /listen opens the same page on your phone.
• Callouts: save the short orders your callers use with /callout add. When someone says one, types its key or presses it on the board, everyone listening gets it in their own language, spoken where it has a voice.
• Follow in my language: one press, and every caption reaches you privately in your language.
• Voice messages and recordings: voice messages are translated where the channel auto-translates, and right-click any recording, audio file or short video for a private transcript and translation. Free, with fair limits.
• Subtitles for your stream: a private link that OBS shows as a browser source, carrying your own words translated into one language a second or two after you say them.

Nobody is transcribed until they pick the language they speak; /voice stop takes it back.

Learn

/practice is a built-in language tutor: 29 languages, 454 everyday phrases each across 13 themes, written in advance and corrected in a separate review pass. No AI in a round. Typed answers are marked by rules written for each language, forgiving the accent your keyboard cannot reach and never a word that means something else. Short rounds, streaks with one rest day a week, XP, badges, a server leaderboard, phrase of the day, scripted conversations, duels, and Latin readings for every script you cannot read yet. iPhone, and the beta

DTranslator for iPhone and iPad is in beta: short daily language rounds in 29 languages and a translator that works on your device.
