GrowMate: grow one tree together as a server

What it does

Every server that adds GrowMate gets one shared tree. Members take turns pressing Water, the tree grows, and fruit falls for whoever is quick enough to catch it. The catch: nobody can water twice in a row, so the tree only grows when your community works together.

The tree panel is the hub: Composter, Leaderboards, My profile and Settings buttons sit right under the tree, and each one answers only the member who pressed it.

How it works

1. Run /tree and press Water.
2. The tree grows for a while. When it's done, the bot posts that it's ready to be watered again. Admins can add a ping role in one click, and members join it with Notify me.
3. Someone else waters it next. The same person can't water it twice in a row.
4. Now and then apples fall. Press Catch before they hit the ground to earn coins and XP. Only you see your result.
5. Spend coins on the composter to make the tree grow faster and drop apples more often.

Key features

• Teamwork built in: one tree per server, watered in turns. A watering streak counts the days in a row your server has watered.
• Catch the apples: quick buttons pay coins and XP to whoever catches them in time.
• Critter visits: now and then a critter visits the tree for 2 minutes. The first member to press its Catch button gets it. There are 16 to find, from common to rare, some only in certain seasons. Collect them all in your Critter book on /profile.
• Seasons and weather: every month has its own species, and the tree's leaves change colour to match, like Cherry Blossom in April and Maple in October. Rain makes the tree grow faster. In a drought, two different members have to water before it grows.
• Daily chores: water once, catch 3 apples and help the composter once each day for +25 coins and +50 XP.
• Milestones: the bot celebrates when your tree reaches 10, 50, 100, 500 and 1,000 ft.
• Composter upgrades: Efficiency speeds up growth, and Quality makes apples drop more often. Upgrades take a little time to finish.
• Watch it grow: the tree art changes through 8 growth stages.
• Server vs server: /top trees ranks the tallest trees across every server, with a switch to this week's fastest growing trees. There are boards for players, fruit and contributors too.
• Vote for Sunshine: each Top.gg vote pays you 50 coins (100 on weekends) and gives your server 1 hour of 2x growth. Sunshine stacks up to 3 hours.
• Notifications on from the start: "ready to water" posts go to your tree's channel by default. Admins pick a channel, ping roles for growing, fruit, composter and milestones, or turn any of them off in Settings.
• One Settings panel: press Settings on the tree panel to pick the notifications channel and ping roles, rename the tree, and turn the seasonal look, weather and critter visits on or off. Everything is on by default.
