Music, back in your voice channel, free. Play any song from YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music & Deezer with Auto-DJ, filters & a web player.

🎵 BeatByte — the music bot your server deserves

Completely free. Zero setup. Voice channel too quiet? BeatByte is a full-featured music bot that gets your server playing in seconds. Just type /play, drop a song name or a link, and the music starts.

Part of the ByteBots family: no setup marathon, no paywall, no premium locks.

BeatByte in 10 seconds: search, stream, sort, sync

🚀 Why BeatByte?

💸 100% free — no premium, no paywalls, no hidden limits.
🎧 Everything in one bot — every source, filters, Auto-DJ, playlists and a Web Player.
⚡ Instant — from search to sound in seconds, no config.

🔊 Play from anywhere

One command, every source. /play takes a search term or a direct link: songs, albums and playlists from YouTube, Spotify and Deezer, tracks from SoundCloud, and songs and albums from Apple Music. Looking for a remix or bootleg? BeatByte checks SoundCloud first.

🎚️ Shape your sound

Dial in the vibe with /filter (Bassboost, Nightcore, Slowed), fine-tune it with the equalizer in the Web Player, and set the level with /volume (0–200%).

✨ Auto-DJ, Now Playing & Lyrics

🔁 /autodj keeps the music going with similar tracks when the queue runs empty. Never any silence.
📺 /nowplaying shows the player card with album art, a live progress bar and buttons for pause, skip and more, so you always see what's on and how long is left.
📝 /lyrics pulls up the lyrics for the current or any song — for the 3 a.m. karaoke moment.

📋 A queue that thinks ahead

The queue preloads upcoming tracks, so /skip is noticeably faster — no buffering. Reorder and manage it with /queue, /shuffle, /loop, /move, /remove, /clear and /playnow. Skip votes keep skipping fair for everyone, and an optional DJ role (/setrole) lets trusted members skip on their own.

💾 Playlists & 🌐 Web Player

Save your sets with /playlist — save, load, list and show. Prefer clicking to typing? Open the browser Web Player at beatbyte.bytebots.de: "Sign in with Discord" or enter your personal code from /app. In full-screen mode it plays the official music video in sync with the song, when there is one. Or skip the browser: start BeatByte as an Activity right in your voice channel (rocket icon), no sign-in needed.

✨ Well-behaved

BeatByte respects a kick from the channel. When everyone leaves, it pauses and leaves after 5 minutes, so no idle bot hangs around. Want it to stay? /247 keeps it in your channel around the clock. /cleanup clears its messages from a channel, and old ones disappear on their own after 24 hours.
