Xenon

Xenon is a Discord bot that saves a server's structure and puts it back. A backup records the parts that take longest to rebuild by hand: every role with its permissions, every channel and category, the permission overwrites that connect them, and the server's own settings. Loading one takes a single command, onto the server it came from or onto any other where you are an admin or the owner.

Servers reach for it before a risky permissions change, after a raid, and when a community moves somewhere new. Running since 2018, on over 3 million servers.

Three commands, start to finish

1. Add Xenon and give it administrator permission so it can read and rebuild your structure.
2. /backup create captures your server in a few seconds and stores it on your Discord account.
3. /backup load rebuilds the same server, or clones it onto a new one, whenever you need it.

What a backup holds

Free: roles, channels, categories, permission overwrites, server settings, icon, banner and emojis. Backups never expire and can be loaded onto any server you administrate.

Premium: messages, threads, forum posts, bans, nicknames and role assignments come back too. A chatlog can archive one channel on its own.

Before you load

/backup load overwrites the target server's channels and roles with the backup's. To copy a server, load the backup onto an empty one. To restore only part of it, load roles without touching channels, or the other way round.

Automatic backups

/backup interval on 12h and Xenon keeps saving in the background. Free keeps the latest one, Premium keeps up to eight per server so you can pick a point before the problem.

Sync (Premium)

Mirror messages between channels, share a ban list across a network of servers, or keep role assignments matched between a main server and its standby. Set it once and Xenon keeps applying changes as they happen.
