A daily standup for your Discord team: everyone checks in with /checkin, and the lead gets one evening report on what got done.
Eodly runs an async daily standup inside your Discord server, so nobody has to ping @here for status updates or join a call.
How it works
- A team lead signs up free at eodly.io and connects your server (the bot asks for View Channels and Send Messages only).
- Each teammate runs /checkin once in the server to link their account.
- Every morning the bot DMs each person asking what they finished, what is blocking them and what is next. They answer with /checkin, and the confirmation is only visible to them, so channels stay clean.
- Anyone who has not checked in gets one reminder before the report.
- In the evening the lead gets one report on the Eodly dashboard and by email.
Why teams use it
- If you connect GitHub or Linear, each update is shown next to the work behind it (the merged pull request or the moved ticket), and an update that keeps saying almost done while nothing moves is flagged.
- Part of the team can check in from Slack or Telegram instead, and the lead still gets one combined report.
- The bot does not read your channels. It only receives what people send with /checkin. No time tracking, no screen capture.
Commands
- /help: what Eodly does and how to set it up (works in any server)
- /checkin: post your daily update (in a connected server or in the bot DM)
