Lookout

Teen safety for servers where teens and adults hang out together.

Chatting is normal, so Lookout leaves it alone. It only steps in when an adult crosses the line with a teen, and it gives your mods everything they need to handle it.

What It Does

• Message Filter: an adult replies to or mentions a teen with something inappropriate? It's removed, the adult is told why, the teen gets a calm heads-up, and your mods get a copy that stays even if the rest gets deleted. It also catches adults telling a teen to keep it secret, asking if they're home alone, or trying to meet up. Works in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German.
• Contact Info Filter: phone numbers, emails and social handles sent to teens are removed, and so is asking a teen for theirs ("what's your snap"). Teens who post their own details in public get them removed too. Saying "dm me" or naming an app is fine.
• Keep Away After 2 Reports: if two different teens report the same adult, that adult can't reply to teens until your mods review it.
• Warning Signs: problems add up over 30 days. One slip never flags anyone.
• Safety Tips: teens get short, friendly tips, plus a private heads-up if their nickname or photo shares too much.

For Your Mods

• Members report with /report, a Report a Problem button or a right-click on a member or a message, and can add a screenshot
• A reported message is copied into the alert, so deleting it doesn't make the evidence disappear
• Members who add Lookout to their apps can report a DM they got. It comes from Discord itself, so it can't be faked
• Every report opens one case in your private mod channel: claim it, warn, time out or disconnect, then resolve it with a note
• Got one wrong? Press False Alarm and it doesn't count
• Warned members can appeal from their DM
• A Safety Checkup that looks at your server's own settings and tells you what to fix
• A weekly summary with charts every Monday

Privacy

Lookout reads server channels only. It never reads DMs on its own (it only sees a DM someone chooses to report), never joins voice channels and never needs Administrator. It can't ban, kick or manage roles, and records are deleted after 90 days.

Commands

Members use /report, /help and /demo. Mods use /cases, /history, /warn and /summary. Admins set everything up from one panel with /setup.
