A bot for extending the pin limit on discord channels by adding a pin channel.
PinBot
Description
This bot essentially extends the pin limit of 50 pins per channel by utilizing a separate channel called the pinboard.
User Guide
- Copy the
.env.exampleto.envand put your Discord Bot Token into that. - Make sure the bot has administrator permissions.
- Create a text channel called pinboard. No caps or dashes.
- React to messages using a pin emoji (📌) in order to pin them.
- Click the links in the message sent to the pinboard to refer back to them.
