Koala announces users as they join the voice channel, supports TTS and much more.
You will never have to ask "Who's here?" while you're in the middle of a game. Koala announces friends as they join the voice channel. You can also customise the channels that announcements are enabled in (or exclude certain channels too!). It also supports TTS.
You can also self host it if you fancy it, source code available at https://github.com/parnavh/koala/
