Suzume Tsuk Mahjong is a Discord bot that brings full‑rules Japanese Mahjong (Riichi Mahjong) right into your server — no app to install, nothing to download. Invite the bot, type /mahjong start, and play four‑player or three‑player (sanma) games in either East‑only (tonpuu) or half‑game (hanchan) format. Short on players? The host can fill empty seats with built‑in AI opponents that run on a pure heuristic — no external API, so games are fast and private.

Every hand is scored by an authentic, complete engine: 42 yaku plus Seven Pairs and Thirteen Orphans, open‑hand han reduction, the “no yaku, no win” rule, and standard fu‑and‑points settlement. Situational yaku are all handled — riichi, ippatsu, double riichi, haitei/houtei, rinshan, chankan, and even tenhou/chiihou — and furiten is enforced throughout. Sanma adds the 108‑tile wall, kita (north dora), and no chii. Across multiple hands you get dealer repeats and honba, riichi sticks, exhaustive‑draw tenpai payments, nagashi mangan, busting (tobi), and final uma/oka placement settlement.

Play happens entirely inside Discord threads: a public thread shows every result, while each player gets a private thread for their own hand. Discard by simply typing a tile (5m, 東, red‑five 0s); call chii, pon, kan, riichi, tsumo, or kita with on‑panel buttons. Sensitive information like your wait or whether you can riichi stays in your private thread only.

The wall is generated with the Ichiban‑gai public method — a cryptographically secure shuffle, encoded and committed as a SHA‑256 hash that anyone can verify after the game, proving no tampering.
