Vibebot is a multipurpose bot originating from the Animevibe discord server. Animevibe is a free to use anime streaming site. Even tho the feature were designed to fit our team the best, including some website related commands, they can be great for others too.
That's why we decided to publish this bot! :D
[Note]: All entries with a ! in front are commands
First of all there are some basic commands like many bots have them, including:
Used to see all the bots commands and receive more detailed descriptions or alternative triggers.
!pingUsed to get the bots latency.
!infoDisplays basic information about the bot.
!userinfoDisplays basic information about a user.
!avatarDisplays the avatar of a user.
!serverinfoDisplays basic information about the current server.
!membercountDisplays the amount of all members and how many of them are real user and how many are bots.
!inviteUsed to get the bots invite link.
There are also some functionalities not depending on repeated commands
You cannot only show the amount of current members/users/bots as a message, but also as the name of a voice channel, updating in 5 minute intervals. Do that by typing !settings membercount {the type you wish to display} {the channel you want to be renamed}.
Reaction rolesReaction roles is a common concept in which you add reactions below a message and everyone who reacts with the same emoji gets a specific role. To set reaction role type !settings reaction_role add {the channel the message is in} {the message id} {the role to add} {the emoji to look for}. Groups are also included which means
Join rolesJoin roles are roles automatically added to new joining members. To add a join role type !settings join_role add {the role to add}
LogA logging channel can be set to log most things happening on the server. Achieve this by typing !settings audit {the text channel you want to be your new log}
The bot also includes a experience and level system which is based on send messages. Once a member has earned xp he is on a 30 second cool down to prevent spam. There is a server wide leaderboard ranking everyone by their level/xp.
Used to see the own or other members level, xp and rank. Shown are local (server wide) and global position.
!topDisplays the leaderboard of the server. The page can be given as an optional argument and every page shows 25 members. The global leaderboard is not available to see in full doe to privacy issues.
Special commands originate of the bots first server. They all have some kind of use for the Animevibe website.
Displays the status of all project vibe websites.
!searchMakes your search into a link directing to Animevibe.
!litesearchGives the first 10 results for the given search (Animemate lite).
!donateGet a link to Animevibes patreon through this.
Moderation is the main focus of Vibebot. This includes manageable mutes and warns as well as purges to remove messages. Permissions are managed through modroles. Modroles are explained further in the first paragraph below the moderation command list.
Mutes a member for a given amount of time with an optional reason. That reason is visible in !mutes and, if active (is turned on by default), in !warns.
!unmuteUn mutes a member. This doesn't remove the corresponding warning!
!mutesShows all currently running mutes of the server.
!purgeDeletes a specific amount of messages, 100 messages and above need a confirmation. There can also be given an optional member to only delete his/her messages.
!warnWarns a member with the given reason. Warns are visible with !warns.
!delwarnUsed to delete a warn by its warnID. This also works with multiple ids at once.
!warnsDisplays a warns of the server. When given a member it instead only shows their warns.
Vibebot also includes a variety of features to make moderation easier, including:
Modroles are used to permissions for specific commands to users. They can also protect them from auto moderation.
LogA logging channel can be set to log most things happening on the server. Achieve this by typing !settings audit {the text channel you want to be your new log}
AutomodAutomatic moderation is turned on by default and includes three different filter which can be turn be turned on and off individually.
The first and second one are both types of spam detection. The first one triggers through a set amounts of messages within 5 seconds. The second one detects messages with similar content. The third one detects invites (an invite whitelist is coming soon). Triggering one of these restrictions will automatically warn the offender. Too many violations can be automatically punish with a mute. Use !settings automod for more.
description of administration commands
Used to remove the bot from the server.
!settingsThis command is used to change all bot settings. It would be probably the easiest to look for yourself :D (!settings)
Planned features are temporarily only visible at my Trello board. I will make sure to add them here as soon as possible.
