Frequently asked questions
How does it work?
When a member activates your server's Guild Tag on their Discord profile, the bot detects it through Discord's gateway events and gives them the role you chose. If they remove the tag, the role is removed too. Make sure your server has a Guild Tag set up in its Discord settings.
Why isn't the role being assigned?
Check that the bot has the Manage Roles permission and that its highest role sits above the role it needs to give. The member must also have your tag equipped and visible on their profile.
Do I need to scan my members manually?
No. When the bot joins, members who already have your tag get their role within moments. A periodic catch-up scan also makes sure nobody is missed.
Does it work on large servers?
Yes. The bot is verified and sharded, and built to handle large communities.
Which languages are supported?
32 languages, and the bot answers in each user's language.
