TorchDice Power Generator

This bot allows users to roll from a list of over 1k superpowers and then add modifiers that further add complexity. Modifiers, terms, and categories all have detailed explanations of what they entail for how the power can be expressed. All the terms and powers come from the trpg system; TorchDice.

Here's a quick guide on what to do when rolling some powers!

PICK YOUR POWER Contact a trusted user in a dedicated rolling channel.

They then roll a set of 5 powers and their relevant modifiers. Invalid mods default to the Standard version.

You get 3 mulligans to reroll the entire set, invalidating the previous one. Alternatively, you can reroll a single mod once (if you have a set reroll left), locking in that set regardless of prior rerolls. Adding a second modifier to a power also locks the set, allowing a choice between the old and new versions of that power.

Limited and Mastery powers cannot use the second modifier rule due to limited options, unless a modifier changes the power category (e.g., "Manipulation").

A new set with mulligans is available after a week from the last set.

Reminder: Adding or rerolling a modifier locks the set permanently.

EXCEPTIONAL POWERS Powers marked with "E" in the roller require a Handbook reference to this section because they follow one or more of the following, special rules.

“[X Race from Race Document] Physiology” powers and Eternal Physiologies affect racial trait options at CC, locking and overriding them respectively.

“Archetype: Familiar” adds a Physiology power and Element roll for theming.

Archetype: Cleric, Demi-/God Physiology, and Divinity requires a power roll to narrow down a theme for the deity.

SHINY CLAUSE Powers with unique or broad scopes marked with "*" get +2 mod variants to choose from, but one reroll still locks the set. The Totemism power rolls until 3 valid physiologies are gained, selecting one with a mod.
