Quaoar

Quaoar is currently a project I am working on alone for fun. This means there may be bugs and features are still being added. If you have any suggestions or would like to help in Quaoar's development please message me on discord.

Quaoar is a bot written in discord.py for interaction with MyAnimeList.net, capable of searching for popular and specific anime. It uses the jikan unofficial REST API for MAL to retrieve metadata. Quaoar's prefix is &.

Commands:

• &search

The search command displays information from MAL about an anime. This information includes the title, status (airing or finished), episodes, link to the MAL page and more.

• &top (amount)

The top command displays the top anime on MAL, up to the amount specified. For example &top 5 shows the top five.

• &printhelp

The printhelp command pretty much displays a condensed version of this page in the channel the command was invoked.

If an anime cannot be found when searching, check the spelling or try an alternative title. For example, if "attack on titan" doesn't work, try searching "shingeki no kyojin" and vice versa.
