Features are not going to be added until the bot has been rewritten in Typescript, and the database has migrated from Mongo to MySQL.
But feel free to use the bot still  :D

At the moment we are just coming to completing the currency module (one of the hardest modules on there lmao) so once that's done it'll be smooth sailing from there.

Also a small reminder, due to us changing up everything it'll mean everyone's levels and money will go back to 0 but we'll try to make it less obnoxious by saying "hey you levelled up" every 10 mins.

Ok Gamers it's about time! Finally Version 2.0 of KFC Bucket Boy is now released! any new commands we have in development over at https://trello.com/c/23itCu29/16-rewrite-entire-bot-in-typescript, anywho onto the spicy stuff! your friendly neighborhood Bucket Boy is now faster than ever and even more dynamic! since we're now written in Typescript, moreon that the movement has switch our storage method from MongoDB over to PostgresSQL! The descriptive/why part:


Discord are making update to their API by making the message intent a privileged intent, this means accessing message.content (The actual content of the message) can only be obtained if you have that intent allowed on your bot, when you have a verified bot you must have a reason to access that intent, alas for us we do not (The only reason I could see you technically need it other than a command handler (we'll get to that in a second) is when using automod, which is a feature we're planning for the future but there is no guarantee that discord will allow us message intents for that sole reason so just in case please allow Bucket boy the scope:

So we can move our commands over to / commands, this is due to the fact that we need the message.content to allow us to split up the message ourselfes and turn it into a command without access to that we are forced into using / commands, I have updated https://invite.bucketbot.dev/ to include the &scope=applications.commands scope so you are still free to invite the bot via there with not need to click the other link above! :KaineBigBrain:

We're on the lookout for some extra staff! 

We've made the careful decision to go on the lookout for some staff, more so some admins to help out with building and expanding this server as much as we can!
So far we only have 2 admins and they're not always available due to some irl stuff, anyway! 

If you feel you're capable of helping forward a server into more members, events, themes, ect feel free to apply by sending the owner a quick dm and he'll brief you over what needs to be done and see if you are capable, any trolls will result in insta ban no questions asked. 

I really want to bring this server into being a great community for those who just wish to hang out in a place but recently i've realised this wont be acomplishd on my own, hence why we're on the lookout for more admins! 

If you want to apply for mod that's ok too but we're mostly looking out for admins!
