Mr. Dice

Mr. Dice is a discord bot with tools to assist D&D players. These include rolling dice, rolling damage for spells and weapons, and retrieving the descriptions for spells, weapons, and magic items.

Commands

/roll <number of dice> <sides of dice> <modifier> <separate>

This this rolls the given amount of dice each with the given amout of sides. The <modifier> option is a number added to the total and defaults to zero. The <separate> option displays the individual dice separately and defaults to false.

/cast <spell> <level> <modifier>

This rolls the damage dice for the given D&D spell. The <level> option allows for upcasting and defaults to the spell's base level. The modifier is a number added to the total.

/weapon <weapon> <modifier>

This rolls the damage dice for the given D&D weapon. The modifier is a number added to the total.

/spelldesc <spell>

This retrieves the description of the given D&D spell.

/spellslist

This retrieves a list of all the spells available to this bot. It will be sent to you as a DM.

/item <item>

This retrieves the description of the given D&D weapon or item.

/itemslist

This retrieves a list of all the items available to this bot. It will be sent to you as a DM.

/magicitem <item>

This retrieves the description of the given D&D magic item.

/invite

This provides the invite link for this bot.

!roll <number of dice>d<sides of dice> + <modifier>

Example: !roll 6d8 + 12
This rolls 6 eight sided dice and adds 10. Modifier is optional

!roll <number of dice>d<sides of dice> + <modifier> separate

Example: !roll 6d8 + 12 separate
This rolls 6 eight sided dice and adds 10, and separately displays the rolls.

!cast <spell> + 10

Example: !cast fireball + 10
This rolls 8d6, the damage for fireball and adds 10.

!cast <spell> lvl 4

Example: !cast fireball lvl 4
This rolls 9d6, the damage for fireball when cast at level 4.

!weapon <weapon> + 10

Example: !weapon shortsword
This rolls the default dice for a shortsword and adds 10.

!spelldesc <spell>

Example: !spelldesc fireball
This retrieves the description of the spell fireball.

!item <item>

Example: !item shortsword
This retrieves the description of a shortsword.

!magicitem <item>

Example: !magicitem wand of fireballs
This retrieves the description of a wand of fireballs.
