Phase 10: the full card game in your Discord server

What it does

Phase 10 plays the card game by the full printed rules, no house rules. Start with /play, everyone joins from the lobby, and work through all ten phases in order. Your hand is shown only to you, the table is drawn as an image everyone can see, and illegal moves are blocked.

The game ends when players finish phase 10. The lowest score among them wins, so the player ahead on phases doesn't always take it.

Three ways to play

• /play The full game: all ten phases, in order
• /playshort A quick game with one random phase
• /playrandom [phases:] The phases in random order. Play all ten, or choose how many (1 to 10)

On your turn: draw from the deck or the discard pile, lay your whole phase at once, hit on any phase already on the table, then discard.

Play with people, bots or both

Short on players? Add any of 15 bot opponents from the lobby, 5 at each difficulty:

• Easy: plays legal moves without much of a plan.
• Normal: builds towards its phase and discards what it doesn't need.
• Hard: watches the table, denies the leader, and dumps penalty cards before the round ends.

Lobby settings

• Number of phases to play
• Phase order: in order or shuffled
• Wild-only groups: allowed or not
• Turn timer: none, 1, 2 or 5 minutes. When it runs out, the bot plays a minimal turn for you, so one AFK player can't freeze the table.
• Stalemate guard: ends a round after 500 turns, or turn it off

Stats and leaderboards

• /stats [user] Your record and win rate, phases completed (and the average per game), average and best score, and your fastest win in rounds.
• /leaderboard Server and global boards for Phase 10 wins (all ten phases in order), Round wins (rounds ended by emptying your hand) and Games won (every game, short and shuffled ones included). Ties go to the lower total score.
