📊 leveling that pays you to show up

Members earn xp by chatting and by hanging out in voice. No setup, no prefix, nothing to configure to start.

• xp from messages and from voice time, both with cooldowns so nobody can farm it
• leaderboards per server, plus global and combined ones that add up your stats across every server voidwave is in
• 12 rank titles, from stardust at level 1 all the way to voidborne at level 100
• automatic role rewards at whichever levels you pick
• sort by level, total xp, messages, voice time or voters, and by all time, daily, weekly or monthly
• every member gets a shareable web profile with their rank, progress bar and stats, and it embeds nicely when you post it

• runs on a self hosted llama 3.2 model, so prompts and replies never reach openai, google or anyone else

• play a link or just type what you want, then queue, shuffle, loop, change the volume, seek and let it autoplay
• skip voting, so a track only gets skipped when the room actually agrees
• an interactive controller with a live progress bar, the queue, lyrics and synced lyrics
• /music random picks something out of 31 genres, /music radio starts an endless station
• playlists belong to you, not to the server. Save up to 25 of them and play them anywhere
• it pauses when the channel empties and leaves after 3 minutes of silence

Kick, ban, unban, timeout, slowmode, lock and unlock channels, add and remove roles.

• every command checks that you actually have the permission, and that the target sits below you in the role hierarchy

11 games, and all of them work in servers, in dms and in private channels.

• solo: 8ball, hangman, wordle, minesweeper, battleship and the 15 puzzle
• against someone: rock paper scissors, tic tac toe and connect four
• multiplayer: blackjack for up to 4, and trivia battles for up to 8
• plus animal pictures, quotes, facts, a calculator, coin flips and random numbers

⚙️ setup takes one command

Run /config auto level:true qotd:true and voidwave creates the channels, roles and settings it needs, and leaves anything you already had exactly as it was.

🗳️ voting, if you want to help

Vote on top.gg or discord list and every message and every voice minute counts double for 4 hours, or 6 hours on a top.gg weekend. The two stack, so a weekend double vote gets you up to 10 hours of double xp. You also get voter badges, a daily streak and a place on the voter leaderboard.

💜 why i built this

i started this to learn python and discord bots, but i got tired of leveling bots being bloated, ugly or locked behind paywalls. so i built one that is clean, self hosted and actually free. i keep adding things from feedback, and i hope it becomes a helpful part of your community. 💜
