A witchy word game with no timer and no spellcheck. Play any word you dare, and hope you don't get challenged!
Can't spell? Perfect. Neither can your friends — and nobody checks unless they dare! Love word games, hate the timer? Spellbrew has no clock. Play your word whenever you like, today or tomorrow, and the game waits for you.
There's no spellcheck here. Play whatever you like. A real word, a maybe, or pure gibberish — it counts unless someone hits the red Challenge button before the next turn.
Fake words nobody catches stay on the board and score. Then, when the game ends, The Trials expose every single one of them. The leaderboard tracks wins — and also who's the biggest Charlatan and the sharpest Inquisitor.
Every game is brewed in a bubbling cauldron. Bubbles on the board are bonuses: green boosts a letter, purple boosts the whole word — a small bubble doubles, a big one triples. Cover one and it pops.
Tap New game (or type /newgame) and pick who's brewing with you. The game gets its own thread, and 2–4 players can join.
Take your turn whenever. No clock, no timer, no pressure. The bot pings whoever's up next and nudges games that go quiet.
Tap Play a word and you get a private preview of exactly where your potions land and what you'd score — before anything counts. Unlabeled bottles fill in automatically for letters you don't have.
Tap My shelf to see your potions, Shuffle to rearrange them, Swap to pour some back.
Words are checked against the current tournament lists — NWL2023 and Collins CSW21 — plus ENABLE. About 285,000 words. US, UK and Canadian spellings all count: colour and color, theatre and theater, favourite and favorite. So do the two-letter words (/twoletters is the full cheat sheet) and the strange ones like ZOEAE and QI.
If it's legal in a Scrabble tournament anywhere on earth, it's legal here and will withstand Challenges. Server admins can add their own house words with /houseword add.
The cauldron changes with the sky and the seasons. /event shows what's on now and what's coming.
Games started during an event keep its rules until they finish. Already mid-game when the moon rises? Your host decides whether to let it shine on your cauldron.
/profile, idle-game reminders/help lists every command · /rules explains the game · /feedback reaches the developer directly/houseword ban.0
