Think of a character, animal, or object. Answer with the buttons. I will guess who or what you are thinking of.

A correct guess earns points, a streak, XP, and a place on the leaderboard. Every player has their own game, so one person's answers never change someone else's.

How to play

1. Think of a character, an animal, or an object, and keep it to yourself.
2. Run /akinator start.
3. Answer each question with the buttons.
4. When a guess appears, press Correct or Wrong.
5. A correct guess ends the round and saves your score. A wrong guess continues the same game.

Yes and No are for things you know. Probably Yes and Probably No are for a strong hunch. Don't Know is fine.

Back returns to the previous question. Skip asks for a guess early. Restart starts a new round in the same message. Stop closes your game. Help explains the buttons without leaving the round.

What you can play

• Characters — real or fictional people
• Animals — animals and creatures
• Objects — items, places, and things

English and French include all three. German, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese include characters and animals. The other languages use characters. A manager can also add a custom category for the server.

Questions are available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Turkish, Dutch, Polish, Indonesian, and Hebrew.

Child mode uses the filtered question set. Private games are visible only to you. Public games stay in the channel. If a manager turns on shared games, other people can press the buttons, and the points still go to the player who started the round.

Points and ranks

A win pays the server's base reward, plus extra for a fast round, fewer questions, and a win streak. Extra wrong guesses lower the payout. A win is always worth at least a few points.

Leaving a game, or letting it expire, counts as abandoned and resets the streak. Daily and weekly boards use UTC. Your level rises from XP, and the early wins move it the fastest.

/ping	Check latency.
/botstatus	Show uptime, memory, active games, and service health.

For server managers

/akinator settings can limit games to one channel, choose the default language, turn child mode on, lock games to public or private, set a cooldown, set how long an idle game stays open, cap how many games one player may run, turn shared public games on, and set the base points for a win.

You can enable or disable categories, add a custom category, and give another role permission to manage these settings.
