AI Chat

Use /chat to open a private GPT-5 thread anywhere in your server. The bot supports several optional plugins you can toggle on/off:

• 🧮 Wolfram Alpha — solve math problems and answer factual questions
• 🌐 Internet access — browse the web for up-to-date information
• 👁️ Vision — understand and describe images you send
• 📺 YouTube — understand the content of YouTube videos from a link
• 🖼️ Image generation — generate images from a description

Just send it a picture, a link, or a question and it'll figure out the right tool to use.

AI Moderation

Content filtering

TrentBot uses AI to detect and remove inappropriate content that traditional word filters miss — including creative spellings, letter substitutions, and other filter evasion tactics.

Filters are fully configurable per-server. Available categories: harassment, harassment_threatening, hate, hate_threatening, self_harm, sexual, sexual_minors, violence, violence_graphic, toxicity, severe_toxicity, obscene, threat, insult, identity_attack

Configure with /aimod <category> <alert_threshold> <removal_threshold>, or use /aipreset to apply a preset for your server type (family-friendly, Discord Partner, edgy-but-bounded, etc).

Anti-spam

TrentBot is trained on hundreds of thousands of real Discord spam messages and can identify spammers without blocking legitimate users. It targets multiple spam categories including porn spam, investment scams, and more, and is updated regularly to keep up with new tactics.

Toggle with /spamfilter.

Argument detection

TrentBot can detect escalating arguments between users and alert moderators, even when no individual message technically breaks the rules.

Social Credit System

TrentBot tracks a global social credit score for every user across all TrentBot servers. Scores go up through positive participation and down when a user breaks rules.

Admins can use this to gate permissions — for example, require a minimum score before users can post links or images. Since the score is global, well-behaved users aren't penalized just for being new to your server.

• /socialrestriction — restrict channel permissions based on score thresholds
• /showrestrictions — view active restrictions in your server

• /psychology — generate an AI personality profile of a user based on their chat history
• /modreport — generate a detailed moderation report on a user (mod only)
• /activityreport — generate an activity report for your server
• /userinfo — view account age, join date, roles, and more for any user

Tickets

• /ticket — open a support ticket (creates a private channel with staff)
• /ticket_info — configure FAQ answers so the bot can auto-respond to common ticket questions

Suggestion box

• /suggestion — turn a channel into a suggestion box with automatic upvote/downvote reactions

Ban management

• /exportbans — export your server's full ban list as a JSON file
• /importbans — import a ban list from another server (using a file from /exportbans)

Repeating messages

• /repeat — post a message on a set interval in a channel (useful for rules reminders, etc.)
• /clearrepeat — stop a repeating message

Community Features

Translation

React to any message with a flag emoji and it'll be translated into that language — free, with no limit. Great for multilingual communities.

Voice message transcription

TrentBot automatically transcribes Discord voice messages and posts the transcript as a reply.

Anonymous messaging

• /anon — send a message anonymously in the current channel

Reddit integration

• /reddit-link — link a channel to a subreddit to mirror new posts automatically
• /reddit-unlink — remove the link

Text-to-speech

Right-click any message → Apps → TTS to have TrentBot read it aloud in a voice channel.

Image generation

• /sdxl — generate an image with Stable Diffusion XL
• /dalle3 — generate an image with DALL-E 3

Fun

• /rps — play rock-paper-scissors
• /thumbs — see your server thumbs up/down count
