VoidWave is a Discord bot that keeps your server active, safe, and fun without making you chase a bunch of paywalls or bloated settings menus.

Leveling that just works Members earn XP just by chatting and hanging out in voice channels. No setup needed, it starts working as soon as you add the bot. There are server leaderboards plus a global leaderboard that follows people across every server that uses VoidWave, auto roles you can unlock at certain levels, and space themed ranks that go from Stardust all the way up to Voidborne. Every profile has a shareable web page too.

AI chat You can talk to VoidWave right in Discord by mentioning it, replying to it, or using /ai. It runs on a self-hosted Llama 3.2 model, so it's free, unlimited, and your messages don't get sent anywhere.

Question of the Day It posts a new question every day in its own thread, pings whoever you want, and can clean up yesterday's post. You can set the time and timezone, or just run /config auto and it makes the channel, role, and settings for you.

Moderation Kick, ban, timeout, slowmode, lock and unlock channels, and manage roles. Everything is a slash command, there's no prefix to remember, and it tells you why something won't work instead of just failing silently.

Fun and games Animal pictures (25 kinds), quotes, facts, a calculator, and 11 games including blackjack, wordle, minesweeper, battleship, and hangman.

I started this project to learn Python and Discord bots, but got tired of leveling bots being bloated, ugly, or locked behind paywalls. So I built one that's clean, private, and actually free. I'm still adding stuff to it and fixing things based on feedback, and I hope it becomes a helpful part of your community. 💜
