Every card is a real object

Most collecting bots give you a name and a number. Ace o' Clubs gives you cardboard.

• Print numbers are global and permanent. The first Batman pulled by anyone, in any server, is print #1. There will never be another.
• Grades are rolled at minting and never change. Mint, Near Mint, Excellent, Played, Poor. A Poor card has creases, thumbprints, sun bleaching and a corner folded over, and you can see the table through the gap.
• Misprints are a separate axis, rarer than Mint. A miscut, a ghosted second impression, an off-register press.

Climb a ladder with the cards you own

Send five cards up the stages and play them one at a time. Cards sharing an affiliation played back to back build a combo, so a collection built around one family hits harder than five strong strangers. The enemy answers every strike.

Attempts come back on a timer. It is a game you check into rather than one that eats your evening.

Make the collection do something

• Mastery. Feed a card duplicates, level it, and bring named allies to ★1.
• 600+ real comic issues with the actual covers, graded like the cards. Finish runs, fill all four ages.
• Sign your cards in your own handwriting. The ink fades and smudges as you keep playing that card.
• Trade baskets of cards, items and currency, or list something on the market at an asking price.
• Contracts ask for a particular line-up. Five affiliations. Nobody above Rare. A signed card on the field.

Put the good one behind glass

A cased card is out of circulation. Nothing can eat it, nothing can burn it, and it renders sealed in a slab.

Nothing is pay-to-win

There is an optional subscription. It pays for hosting and gives a daily crate of materials plus an auto-play convenience.

It grants no stats, no drop rates, no pull odds and no ladder rewards, and never a card. Every character in the game is available to every player without paying. Both rules are enforced by tests that fail the build.

/help explains everything. Every command works as a slash command or as chat (o open), so it fits however your server plays.
