Instead of scouring one server, you can post Looking For Player messages that get shared with other connected servers through Looking4Play.
The bot is built to be quick to set up. Admins just run /setup to pick a channel, and anyone can start a search right away with /search.

Commands
/setup channel: Choose the channel where Looking4Play should run on your server
/search message:
