Stop asking "is anyone using staging?"

Lockit lets your server reserve shared things so two people never use them at once: staging and dev environments, test devices, servers, licences, meeting rooms, anything.

How it works

• /lockit new name:staging-db creates a resource, and lock and release updates are posted to that channel
• /lockit lock resource:staging-db duration:2 hours takes it (times like "till 6pm" work too)
• /lockit list shows what's free and who holds what, with one-click Lock and Release buttons
• /lockit release resource:staging-db gives it back

When it's busy

• Alert me when free: get a DM the moment it's released
• Ask to take over: the holder gets a DM with Release to them / Keep it
• Locks expire on their own, so nothing stays reserved forever
