Sun Tzu Daily Affirmation
0
A quote from Sun Tzu's The Art of War each morning, in a channel you choose. Or ask any time with /suntzu.
A line from The Art of War, every morning
Sun Tzu Quote Bot posts one quotation from The Art of War to a channel you choose, once a day. Anyone can also ask for one at any time with /suntzu.
92 quotations across all thirteen chapters, from Lionel Giles's 1910 translation. They are drawn from a shuffled deck, so no quotation repeats until the rest have had their turn — and every server gets its own sequence, rather than sharing one.
Setup is two steps
Add the bot, run /suntzu-setup, pick a channel. Done. /suntzu-status confirms it.
Commands
| Command | Who | What it does |

/suntzu-setup |

/suntzu-status |
Everyone | See whether the daily quotation is on, and where |
/suntzu-stop |
Manage Server | Turn the daily quotation off |
It asks for three permissions and nothing more
View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links. It requests no privileged intents, so it cannot read your messages.
What it stores
Your server's ID and the ID of the channel you picked. That is all — no messages, no member lists, no accounts, no analytics. /suntzu-stop or removing the bot deletes it. The privacy policy shows the complete stored record, unedited.
Two honest caveats
- The daily quotation posts at 9:00 AM US Central for every server, so a European server gets its "morning" quotation in the afternoon.
- It runs on one machine maintained by one person — free, and staying free, but with no uptime guarantee.
