Rust-powered pull request tracking for Discord: one live message per PR, an audit thread for history, and review requests from chat.
GitKord is a Rust-powered bot that turns GitHub pull requests into live, self-updating Discord messages.
How it works
Install the GitHub App on your repositories, then run /subscribe in a channel. GitKord posts one message per pull request and edits it in place as the PR moves along: new commits, approvals, requested changes, merges, and closures. Status indicators keep it readable at a glance:
🟢 Open · ✅ Approved · 🛑 Changes requested · 🟣 Merged
The result is a quieter channel where pull request status is always visible: no manual refreshing, no duplicate messages, no missed reviews.
Features
- One message per PR. No repeats and no pile of redundant pings.
- Audit threads. Every PR gets its own thread that logs reviews, commits, and status changes, and doubles as a place to discuss the change.
- Reviews from Discord. Request or withdraw a review with /assign and /unassign, using a GitHub username or a Discord mention.
- Link your accounts. /link lets you use your Discord mention and GitHub username interchangeably.
- Per-channel subscriptions. Each team only sees the repositories that matter to them.
- Private replies. Command responses are visible only to you.
- No webhook setup. Install the GitHub App once. There is no per-repository webhook to create, and every event is authenticated and verified before anything is posted.
Commands
/subscribe, /unsubscribe, /link, /unlink, /assign, /unassign, /health
