CityGuess is a Discord geography game that treats every city like a collectible trading card. Instead of a dry quiz bot, it’s built around discovery, speed, and progression — guess the city before time runs out, unlock the card, and grow your collection across the globe.

The Concept Each city in CityGuess is a fully designed card with its own personality: landmark, cuisine, climate, population, nickname, fun fact, and rarity tier. When a round starts, the card is sealed — you see mystery clues, a live 20-second countdown, and a shrinking point bar. Guess correctly and the card flips open in a rich embed, permanently added to your album. Guess too slow or run out of time, and the streak breaks.

It’s geography meets gacha meets speedrun.

How It Plays /play drops a mystery city into your channel. Clues unlock progressively, the timer ticks down every 2 seconds, and players race to call /guess with the right answer. Faster guesses earn more points — up to 1,000 for an instant answer, scaling down to 100 at the 20-second mark.

Difficulty scales from Easy (famous cities) to Expert (obscure gems), so new players and geography nerds both have a lane.

/daily gives everyone the same city for that day with 2× points, building a shared server moment and a personal daily streak.

/duel @player turns it into a 3-round PvP showdown — two players, same clock, highest score wins.

Collect, Compete, Climb Your /collection is a paginated card album. Unlocked cities show in full color with rarity badges; locked ones appear as ??? — incentive to keep playing.

/profile tracks everything: total points, accuracy, current and best streaks, fastest guess, duel record, and your earned title — from Novice Navigator all the way to Geo-God.

/leaderboard ranks the top explorers globally. 15 achievements reward milestones like lightning-fast guesses, legendary unlocks, continent completion, and duel victories.
