Available Commands:

Displays general info about the bot (i.e What the bot does). |
/event |
Sends a randomly selected historical event for the day to the channel. |
/events <month> <day> |
Shows a list of events for the specified date |
/setchannel <daily | weekly> <@role> |
Sets the channel it is executed in as the events channel. Historical events will be sent daily (Everyday @ 12PM CST) or weekly (Monday @ 12PM CST). You must have the Manage Server permission to use this command. |
/removechannel <daily | weekly> |
Stops event messages from being sent to this channel. Daily or weekly messages will no longer be sent to the channel. You must have the Manage Server permission to use this command. |

Embed link permissions were also needed. Seems a great educational bot to help people learn history facts. Owner on support server, Angoose was very helpful and showed video etc of permissions to try get it working. Would recommend this bot to others, donate if you can to help out.

As a first time user, I am having some problems trying to set this up. Every time I try to do a "/" interaction with the setchannel option to set this up for a specific channel, I get a note saying "This interaction failed." More complete, step-by-step instructions could be posted here on how to perform first time setup.
